JCAP Eco-Justice Advocacy Series: Storytelling, Networking & Campaigning

Following our foundational session on Ignatian Advocacy, this 3-part webinar series welcomes attendance from our Jesuit and Ignatian international community including our JCAP eco-justice delegates, staff, friends and partners.

Moving from the why of our mission to the how, these practical sessions focus on the core tactics and techniques required to amplify our impact. By learning and building capacity together, we ensure our collective voice becomes stronger and more effective in the long run.

• Webinar 2 (September 16th): Guides advocates on identifying and shaping impactful stories. Ego Lemos shares insights on province-wide storytelling for Timor-Leste, while Michael Fendel frames eco-justice narratives across the region.

• Webinar 3 (October 7th): Explores digital campaign tactics alongside the practical challenges of communication. Fr. Nonno shares his experience with online networking and digital campaigns. Ria discusses essential guardrails, touching on political sensitivities and cultural considerations when developing stories.

• Webinar 4 (November 4th): Ties the series together with an emphasis on regional collaboration. Louie Bacomo shares lessons from recent JRS advocacy initiatives and regional networking, joined by a guest contributor to explore coalition-building tactics.
