Kindergarten 2026 Orientation
Event description
We are delighted to invite you to our Kindgarten 2026 Orientation Morning for parents and students joining Kindergarten in 2026 at Hunter Valley Grammar School.
Date: 27 November 2025
Time: 9:00 – 10.45 am
What to bring on the day: For your child, please pack a small backpack with a drink bottle with water, a hat, and a piece of fruit or vegetable for Crunch’n’Sip.
Where to go: Please head directly to the K-2 Hall. (This is the same place that Kindy Transition was held).
What to expect:
Children will spend the morning in their Kindergarten Classroom. They will be escorted to the classroom by student buddies, upon arrival. Please be brave! Be ready to wave good-bye!
Parents will stay in the K-2 Hall for an Information Session and Morning Tea.
Children will be returned to the K-2 Hall at 10.40, upon completion of their orientation.
ELC families
Children who attend the ELC on this day will be required to attend orientation with their parents. Once the orientation session is over, parents may sign their child into the ELC.
