LCI #6: Exploring New Horizons Fertiliser Management Program with DPIRD

Catchment Groups, grazing farmers, and industry representatives are invited to join this session to learn about opportunities available through the Fertiliser Management Program, funded by Healthy Estuaries WA and Soils - New Horizons.
Hear from Dr Deborah Holtham, Sustainable Agriculture Project Coordinator, Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER) and Holly Butterworth, Development Officer, Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development about the potential opportunties for your farm or catchment group!
Soil testing has given more than 2300 growers control of their fertiliser decisions by cutting fertiliser costs, keeping production high, preventing nutrient losses and correcting soil pH. The program is open through Healthy Estuaries WA to beef, dairy and sheep grazing enterprises that are over 40 hectares of arable land.
This event is generously supported by the WA Government's State Natural Resource Management Program and the National Landcare Network.
