Make it Beautiful Again: Recover Workshop

🧵 Bring along your stool, squab, deck chair or computer chair and give it a fresh new look.

🧵 We’ve got the tools, a good stash of fabric to choose from, and plenty of ideas to help you make something you’ll be proud of.

🧵 If you’ve got a fabric you love, bring that too! Just make sure to do a bit of prep beforehand — like pulling out staples or unpicking seams.

🧵 This workshop is all about repurposing what you’ve got and giving tired furniture a second life — useful, creative, and way more fun than throwing things out.

Cost: Koha/Donation

When: Friday 12th September 2025, 5pm - 8pm

Where: Sewing For Success Arawa Park Racecourse 274-278 Fenton Street, Glenholme, Rotorua 3040

What do I need?: Your item to be upcyled. Everything else supplied, unless you have specific fabric you want to use.

How do I get there?: Depending on the size of your upcycle! You can walk, cycle, bus or come by car. Park in the Arawa Park Racecourse carpark.
