MATES Two Day Applied Suicide Intervention Skills (ASIST) - November Adelaide

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first-aid that teaches you how to recognise when someone may be at risk of suicide and how to work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety. ASIST workers can be compared to the first aid officer on site.
ASIST is an internationally certified and recognised training and is considered the best practice when it comes to suicide intervention programs.
Anyone 16 and over is eligible to register for this training session, and no prerequisites are required.
The course costs $330 unless you have a current CITB Registration Number*; the course will then be free. You must provide the number when registering for a ticket.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a two-day workshop, and you MUST be present for both days.

*CITB funding may be sourced to cover the cost of the LSTB program / ASIST workshop for participants with a current CITB number.
