Mother and Son Retreat Weekend. (sons aged 8-13years)

We are so happy to be running a SPRING 2024 retreat for MOTHERS AND SONS aged 8-13 years. 

Nestled on a beautiful property just 40minutes from Gosford and 1hour from the centre of Newcastle.

These weekends were inspired by our own Sons and Daughters (who will now be attending as mentors) and all wonderful families who have come along annually since 2014- we are grateful to all of them!

The weekend will involve a variety of workshops and activities designed to foster deeper connections between MOTHERS AND SONS, as well as opportunities for mothers to relax and sons to have some boy fun. It's our belief that by engaging in both shared experiences and one-on-one time, we can strengthen the bonds between MOTHERS AND SONS in unique and meaningful ways.

Workshops and Activities:

• One-on-One Mother-Son Time: weekend, we'll encourage MOTHERS AND SONS to spend quality one-on-one time together. These sessions are intended for heart-to-heart conversations, shared activity, and creating lasting memories. We believe that these intimate moments will allow for deeper understanding and connection between MOTHERS AND SONS.

• Mother Time: We understand the importance of mothers nurturing themselves. With the help of our mentors we will have scheduled times for mothers to unwind, and connect.

• Boy Fun: Boys will have their chance to enjoy some excitement and adventure along with the mentors.  From outdoor games and sports to creative workshops and team-building exercises, there will be plenty of opportunities for boys to have fun, bond with peers, and unleash their energy in a positive and supportive environment.

• Finding Balance:

Our aim is to strike a balance between group dynamics and intimate moments, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to connect and grow in their own unique way.

• Mother Son Collaboration of a Creative Art -- TBA This creative workshop is always a playful journey of the mother son dynamic as we create a memory AND a piece of craft/art. The project will reflect the age/stage of the sons booked.
• Dam and swimming pool.
• Optional Mud Bath. 

• CAMP FIRE. (conditions FURTHER PROGRAM DETAILS TBA it is always a wonderful balance of FREE time and ORGANISED fun!

• THE COST
  

The cost is per Mother Son Couple (not each) and includes Accommodation, all nourishing vegetarian meals catered for by the amazing Jo Powling from Zone Zero Events.

FAQ 

• DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLAN? -- After pay is available. If after pay isn't available to you please get in touch, we will try to work a solution. (Payment plan incurs an $80 admin fee)

• If I book a private room do i share a bed with my son?  yes a Queen size Bed.

• What is the sleeping arrangement in the dorms? bunk beds dorm style. Just 3 sets of bunks per room.

• Is linen supplied? you must supply your own pillow case and sheet set.

• Is the booking per person?The booking is per couple (one mother and one daughter)

• Can i attend with 2 sons? Just one son
• Do we have to participate in every workshop? The program is optional.
