National CHSP Volunteering Network Meeting - Focus: Young people volunteering in aged care

This meeting is for members of workforce in organisations that involve volunteers in in-home aged care services, including both paid and volunteer workforce. 

Our objectives are to discuss successes and challenges in volunteering programs and to highlight different aspects of volunteer management at each meeting. The National Standards for Volunteering Involvement (NSVI) and the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards are used as a basis for discussion.

In this session we will explore concepts and issues around young people volunteering in aged care. Our guest speaker is Emma Vallelonga, Volunteer Projects Officer at Volunteering SA&NT.
