Community tour of the Albury Waste Management Centre
Event description
Free community tour of the Albury Waste Management Centre!
Have you ever wondered what happens to your waste when it leaves the kerb? Do you want to know more about how recycling works in the local Halve Waste area?
The tour provides a behind-the-scenes look into Albury's award-winning waste management facility. You'll discover how materials from local households and businesses are processed and learn why it's so important to place items in the right bin.
After the tour participants will then be invited to join us for a light morning tea and an interactive recycling session to discover what we recycle, why we recycle and where our recycling goes.
