In a world that pulls us in so many directions, this retreat is an invitation to gently come back to yourself - to your truth, to your body, to what matters most in your relationships.

Using the powerful modality of Family Constellation Therapy, woven with grounding movement and ritual, we’ll explore the hidden dynamics that shape how we relate to ourselves, to others, and to those who came before us.

This retreat is about more than tools or insight (though you’ll receive both). It’s about shifting the patterns that no longer serve you so you can create space for something new to take root.

What we heal within ourselves ripples outward.
We believe that healing our relationships has the power to free not only ourselves, but our children, and their children too.

Meet Your Facilitators

Jo & John
We’re a real-life couple who’ve been together for over 26 years, navigating the ups and downs of love, parenting, healing, and change. We’ve done our own work and continue to do it which is what makes us so passionate about holding this space for others.

Jo brings a nurturing, intuitive presence. With a background in teaching, postgraduate studies in counselling and guidance, and training in Family Constellation Therapy, Reiki, and Yin Yoga, she holds space in a way that’s grounded, spacious, and deeply honouring of each person’s unique path.

John brings a calm, steady energy the kind that lets people exhale. His roots are in carpentry and BMX racing, and over the last five years he’s trained and facilitated in Family Constellation Therapy. He has a deep connection to the land, sustainability, and practical living which brings a beautiful balance into this healing work.

Together, we offer something a little different: a couple doing this work side by side, living and breathing what we teach, and holding space with care, courage, and integrity.

🌿 Dynamic Movement with Lisa Boerner

We’re honoured to be joined by Lisa Boerner, who will guide us through Dynamic Movement a Kriya-inspired practice that gently supports emotional integration and embodiment. Her sessions invite you back into rhythm with your body and your breath a perfect support for the deep inner work of constellation.

The Retreat Setting: Kula, Muriwai

Held at the breathtaking Kula in Muriwai, this retreat is nestled above the ocean with expansive views of the wild Tasman Sea. It’s a place that feels like the edge of the world, a perfect container for deep work and spacious restoration.

You’ll be nourished with soulful, grounding vegan and gluten-free meals, lovingly prepared by Family Balance NZ.
