Event description

Trauma Informed Slow Flow Yoga

This class is perfect for slowing down, reconnecting with your body in a supportive environment, and finding a bit of calm. No prior yoga experience is necessary.

With an emphasis on choice and experiencing the practice as feels right for you in the moment. That might look like moving with the facilitator, taking the various options offered, or choosing something completely different—maybe even other yoga shapes or a resting shape at any time.

We start with grounding, seated shapes, giving you time to settle and connect with your breath. From there, we'll gently work up towards a slow flow, always with an option to stay and hang out in any shape for longer. After our flow, we’ll transition back down to the mat for cooling, restorative shapes, and a final resting shape.

Renée is a trauma-informed yoga facilitator and educator living near Djilang/Geelong with her family.
