Capabilities that Awaken & Disrupt: De-Veiling Narratives

Due to the success and feedback of our launch webinar held on September 11th 2025, we have been encouraged to offer 5 additional participatory webinars to take a deeper look at what is in each pillar of the report.

Each exploration will contain theoretical grounding, dialogue in small groups and practice of the theory so that there is an opportunity to practice in real-time. In some of these explorations we will invite in someone from the field with deep experience in the subject co co-contribute their insights, in others Jenny, Josie or Al will host.

This webinar focuses on Capabilities that Awaken & Disrupt: De-Veiling Narratives. We will look at the 'story of separation', how to understand its sources, how to engage others in dialogue, how to use it to help individuals, groups and organisations stay away and aware in their decision-making.

As with our earlier study in March 2025, we have supplemented the content with Really Regenerative and our founder Jenny Andersson’s own decade-long study of place-based regenerative design and development, much of which was documented for her study: Places For Life. We have also been allowed to bring in some critical illustrative case studies from other sources such as the research study by Leen Gorissen, Karla Bonaldi, Piet Haerens and Lénia Rato, commissioned by the Belgian Federal Public Service for Health, Food Chain Safety and Environment.

Really Regenerative’s own journey, studying and supporting many place-based community-led regenerative projects around the world helped to to deepen our understanding across the different fractals of place, from neighbourhood to bioregion.

We have grouped capabilities into five interconnected fields that we have seen during this work. Join us to explore the first pillar - Capabilities and Qualities that Awaken and Disrupt. The full five pillars are:-
