Queer as Foxtrot - Dance Party 3 Oct

Queer as Foxtrot host regular Dance Party events throughout the year, and weekly dance classes for the LGBTQI+ Community.

This is an adult-only space for our members and the LGBTQI+ Community in general, to get together and have some fun. Join us for a night of fun, frivolity and lots of dancing - it's a great cheap night out and an excellent way to meet new friends! We have dance games and giveaways too, so you could be a winner!!

You don't need a partner as many people come alone, and you don't need dance experience either, as there's some instruction provided. Feel free to join us on the dance floor, or just come along to watch and enjoy the vibe and our student demonstrations, which are a highlight of the night.

Finger food, tea, coffee and cask wine is included with your entry. Please feel free to BYO drinks, and/ or bring a plate.

Dancing all night includes:

Waltz, Cha Cha Cha, Salsa, Tango, Foxtrot, Jive, Rumba, Samba, Quickstep, Rock n Roll, New Vogue and much more. You can freestyle if you don't know any of the above too, of course.

Our parties are a great way for the Community to come together in a safe and supportive space. The vibe is warm and inviting, and new members are always welcome. We hope to see you there!!

Queer as Foxtrot is a Ballroom & Latin dance studio for the LGBTQI+ Community.

We are similar to other dance studios, however, the traditional gender roles are non-specific, so you can feel free to be yourselves or play with the gender roles, as suits you. You could lead, follow or do a bit of both and be ambi-dancetrous. :)

Although we host regular weekly classes, we are mainly a social group, and our focus is on fun and getting together via dancing.

We hold Dance Parties every three months or so and also offer private lessons, for one on one sessions with your teacher, or couples training.
