Join us at Tasmanian Pollination Services and learn how to raise queen bees.
The varroa mite outbreak in NSW is a reminder that we all need to learn how to raise our own queens and this is an opportunity to learn how to raise queens from an international expert.
This session will be led out by Angela who is the lead queen raiser at Tasmanian Pollination Services. Ange has worked from South Africa to Hawaii and now calls Tasmania home.
This is also a chance to visit a commercial apiary and to start understanding what happens within a commercial apiary.
