Reidy House will host the annual Mothers' Movie Afternoon for an exclusive screening at the Elizabeth Street Theatre of the romantic drama, The Materialists starring Dakota Johnson, Pedro Pascal and Chris Evans. Dakota Johnson stars as a young New York City matchmaker whose business gets complicated as she finds herself torn between the perfect match and her imperfect ex.

The movie afternoon is a wonderful opportunity for mothers, carers, daughters and friends to get together for an enjoyable afternoon and to raise money for the Reidy House Friendship Group - Brisbane Youth Service (all proceeds from the event will go to the Brisbane Youth Service).

When: Sunday 15 June 2025 | 2pm for a 2.30pm start
Where: Elizabeth Street Theatre
Cost: $30 plus booking fee, which includes a glass of bubbles or soft drink on arrival

We will also be holding a bubbles and books raffle (tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10) which will be drawn on the day.

Mothers of Reidy boys and their friends are all welcome. This is not an exclusive Reidy House event.
