Creative Sparks is a gentle, immersive workshop designed to reconnect you with your creative voice through both visual art and the written word.

Blending expressive artmaking with mindful awareness exercises, this experience invites participants to slow down, tune in, and explore what emerges when creativity is given space to unfold.

Across the session, you’ll experiment with pastels and watercolours and be introduced to poetry forms, including haiku and duplex poetry, offering new ways to blend creatively language, emotion, and imagery.

Grounded in mindfulness practices, the workshop encourages presence over perfection. There is no expectation of artistic or writing experience, only a willingness to explore.

Facilitated by Sarah Molnar, President of Art of the Minds, this workshop draws on her extensive experience in creative expression, mental health education, and community facilitation. With a background in Psychological Science and current studies towards a Master of Art Therapy, Sarah brings a thoughtful, inclusive, and supportive approach. She is also a student member of ANZACATA (Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapies Association).

Session Duration: 2 hours

Cost: $25 per person with all proceeds going to Art of the Minds
