Rethinking Waste (For Good) - Wagga Wagga
Event description
Have you ever felt there's a better way to manage consumption in our area?
Have you heard about the circular economy and wonder what exactly that involves?
Have you wondered what it might take to start a project that uses resources differently?
...
This is the kickstart you need to get yourself empowered to change the way we live, share and connect!
The workshop covers:
* The state of waste and litter in our area in 2021
* The circular economy: what is it and how it works
* 10 exciting ways you can incorporate the circular economy into your community this year
Join our free, interactive workshop with co-founder of Good for the Hood, Jo Taranto. Jo has worked with ABC's War on Waste and Fight for Planet A: Our Climate Challenge and has seen communities all over Australia taking action to make cleaner, kinder and more sustainable choices.
The workshop is interactive and will ask for your participation for the best outcomes, so we would love to see your face, hear your voice or at the very least, see what you type in the comments. All pre course material and the link to join will be sent closer to the event.
This event is an initiative of Wagga Wagga City Council to mark Plastic Free July.
