Rotary Club of Lindisfarne Talks - Hayley Brown

Hayley Brown is a Community Coordinator working with the Royal Automobile Club of Tasmanian (RACT) in their Community Engagement and Events Team where she manages and delivers road safety education programs.

Her journey into road safety has been a winding road, with a pit stop in retail specialising in child restraints, and adding to her Bachelor of Arts degree with a Masters in Publishing and Editing.

All of these skills and experiences have guided Hayley to her current destination which sees her travelling across Tasmania, presenting the programs to child care centres, schools and community groups.

While Hayley has seen some stunning parts of our beautiful apple isle as a result, she has also seen first-hand the importance of road safety education.

As one of the worst performing states in Australia for road trauma, keeping up to date on the road rules and monitoring our daily driving habits are all ways we can keep ourselves, our families and other road users safe on our roads.
