    Event description

THIS PAGE IS FOR TICKETS TO JUST THE AUGUST TOPICS FOR THE SANDS NZ & VCA PROFESSIONALS' SERIES

Sands NZ and VCA invites you to participate in our new Professionals' Series - online learning about many aspects of baby loss for anyone who interacts with or supports bereaved parents, families and whānau.

The Series is made up of different topics each month, and everything is delivered online. The tickets you purchase on this page are for AUGUST only. If you wish to purchase tickets for the four months from July to October - please go to https://www.vca.co.nz/professi.... You'll see the link to the whole series there.

You will receive a link for an online platform where you can access the content (a presentation plus other videos, resources, links, articles).

We also have discussion webinars for the August topics on a Thursday evening from 8:00-9:00pm. Most of the discussion webinars will be attended by bereaved parents/whānau so you will have a unique opportunity to hear their lived experience and to ask questions. We have used this format in our Student Series and we're told consistently that the discussion webinars are the most valuable part of the learning!

The topics and dates for webinars are:

    Models of Care
    -  discussion webinar with Vicki Culling and TBC, Thursday 17 August 2023, 8:00-9:00pm

What Should I Say and Not Say? - discussion webinar with bereaved parents, Thursday 24 August 2023, 8:00-9:00pm

Memory-Making When a Baby Dies - discussion webinar with bereaved parents, Thursday 31 August 2023, 8:00-9:00pm

If you have any questions, please email Vicki Culling on vicki@vca.co.

Refunds are available up to 7 days prior to the event. In the circumstance the event cannot go ahead, the event may be postponed
to a new date and all ticket holders will be offered either a refund or a transfer of ticket to the new date.
