COME BUILD YOUR SKILLS AND RECEIVE INSTRUCTION FROM NCAA Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, NAIA, JUCO college coaches, and scouts.
The SBS FUTURES SHOWCASE is designed specifically for the middle school baseball player to showcase their skills in a high school like baseball exposure format. This is a unique opportunity for the 6th – 8th grade student athlete to be exposed to and showcase their talents and skills as well as receive instruction from college coaches.
Players will receive instruction on the proper baseball fundamentals of the position they play Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), local and regional college coaches. Players will take part in the 60 Yard Dash and Base Running Drills. Players will also receive Hitting, Fielding and Positional instruction.
The SBS FUTURES SHOWCASE also includes participation in the Showcase Symposium & College Fair, Showcase team t-shirt, Tickets to the Detroit Tigers game. A 3–5-minute performance video is available at an additional cost.
The SOUTHFIELD BASEBALL SHOWCASE is unique to Detroit’s metro area high-school baseball programs. Since its inception in 2015, the Showcase’s primary goal continues to be to provide Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) baseball coaches and programs a first-hand look at the most talented high-school players in the Detroit area and the Mid-West region to include Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland Kansas City, St. Louis and Milwaukee. The SOUTHFIELD BASEBALL SHOWCASE continues to introduce prospective college players to the Baseball Programs and education opportunities available at HBCU's.
