    Event description

Learn how to find evidence to support practice, research or education.

Show us the evidence! Easy to say - hard to do.

This webinar will introduce techniques to find medical or health research using the Medline database. It will start with basic techniques to find relevant literature. For some people this may be enough.

It will then go onto to explore more advanced techniques for more difficult topics, or for people doing to do a deeper dive into the literature.

How far you go is up to you!

It will include: using subject headings, truncation, proximity searching and other database functionality. It is especially suited to anyone planning to do any type of literature review.

Running time approximately 50-60 minutes via Teams.

Note: This presentation is for staff of Royal Melbourne Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, The Royal Women's Hospital and Victorian Mental Health services. Library membership is recommended to ensure access to Medline.
