This workshop, hosted by Mission Australia Peer Workers Michelle Levy and Sean Casey will run across 4 consecutive Monday's from 10am to 12:30pm starting on September 7, 2026, continuing through September 14, September 21 and September 28. Morning tea will be provided.

Grief is often associated with death and bereavement, but it is in reality the process by which we come to integrate and adjust to any significant loss in our lives. Using the Seasons for Growth model, you will have the opportunity to:

Examine the meaning of grief and the range of changes and losses experienced in life
Reflect on the relationships between change, loss, grief and behaviour
Understand the factors that influence grief reactions
Explore strategies of empowerment
