ABOUT THE CONTACT IMPROVISATION PROGRAM WITH NITA LITTLE
Join contact improvisation pioneer Nita Little and 40 contact improvisers as they share their findings at the conclusion of 2 weeks of workshops at Critical Path produced by Lee-Anne Litton. This sharing will provide insights into the research methodologies and emergent practices developed during the residency workshop.
Week 1 of the workshop explored Relational Intelligence in CI. Participants took a deep dive into relational practices inherent in Contact Improvisation, focusing on co-creativity, trust, and emergent phenomena.
Week 2 has explored Contact Improvisation Meets Ensemble, introducing participants to a body of material that merges Contact Improvisation with Ensemble Practices.
Stay on for a special conversation where Nita Little meets the history of Australian Contact Improvisation. Hosted by Martin Hughes, with insights from Helen Clarke Lapin, this dialogue will delve into the roots, evolution, and shared visions of CI in Australia.
