    GEOFF MORRELL

    Geoff lives in Mt Kiera and has over 45 years experience as one of Australia's leading stage actors with both the Sydney & Melbourne Theatre Companies. He has been nominated for 5 AFI leading actor awards and 2 Silver Logies for his screen work. Most recently he has appeared in RINGS OF POWER, MYSTERY ROAD, PARRISH STATION:THE KILLINGS, and with Liam Neeson in twice - in ICE ROAD 2 and THE MONGOOSE. He is also an accomplished Artist, Musician and Writer. In 2023, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Letters from Wollongong University for his contribution to the arts.

  • MICHAEL HORROCKS

    MICHAEL HORROCKS

    Michael has worked as an actor, producer, writer, development executive, executive producer, television and radio presenter.   He was the Voice of The Comedy Channel for a decade, a co-founder and performer of radio sensation This Sporting Life, he hosted his own show on Triple M and the long-running TV shows Cartoon Connection, Video Smash Hits and Saturday Morning Live among others.   As co-owner of Cornerbox Productions, he went on to create and produce sketch shows Big Bite and The Wedge while helping launch the careers of Chris Lilley and Rebel Wilson.   As Head of Comedy at Seven Network, he created the sitcom Fam Time, as well as executive producing Orange is the New Brown and Fat Pizza and is currently producing a documentary series for Beyond Entertainment and developing film and television projects for his company Red Emperor Films. He is the singer/songwriter for his band The Leisuremasters.

    RACHAEL MOGAN MACINTOSH

    Rachael is a mum-of-three, crisis counsellor and community trainer from Coledale. Her writing has appeared in magazines, newspapers and online publications across Australia, France and the USA; including The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age, the Saturday Paper, Good Weekend, the New York Post and many others. Rachael is the author of two books: Pardon My French and Mothering Heights and is currently writing a novel about the shenanigans that ensue at a psychedelic psychotherapy retreat in Wollongong when civilisation unexpectedly collapses.  Rachael loves books, baths, coffee, history podcasts, Below Deck Med and Terry’s Chocolate Orange - consuming them simultaneously whenever possible.

  • IVY MACINTOSH

    IVY MACINTOSH

    Ivy is 19 and finished school in 2024 before taking a gap year to work and travel through Europe. She grew up in Coledale but moved this year to Sydney where she is loving her first year at AFTRS film school. She has written plays staged by the Wollongong Young Writers Program, performed as part of the State Drama Ensemble, and can hit a high E, but her first love is screenwriting. She is currently preparing to shoot her first short as writer/director at AFTRS, which features a woman trapped in a lift with a man in a bear suit.

    NICK BOLTON

    Nick is a Bulli resident and co-owns the production company TEN ALPHAS, He teaches at AFTRS and is also the Chair of Screen Illawarra. As a filmmaker, Nick was Executive Producer on Fran Braithwaite’s film ‘Finding Addison’, the Australian Academy Best Short Film for 2024. His previous film ‘Mate’ was Oscar longlisted in 2023. Nick was nominated for services to Arts and Culture in the City of Wollongong Awards 2024.

    SUSIE FAGAN

    Susie is an Irish writer, performer, comedian and poet based in Wollongong,l. A regular on ABC Radio she has performed at multiple venues and events around Australia but is most happy when they are local so she can feck off home early enough for a cup of tea before bed. Susie will be performing at The Factory Theatre as part of this year's Sydney Fringe Festival and is currently developing a solo show with Merrigong Theatre.

    Heath’s a Scarborough local of more than a decade, a teacher, and the man behind Playback Interviews - where he sits with everyday Australians and records their life stories… as a private family keepsake. He also spent many years in radio, telling stories for a living.

  • Christopher Stollery

    Christopher Stollery

    Chris has toured the stages of Europe with Cate Blanchett, performed with John Cleese at the Sydney Opera House, sang in a musical with Tim Minchin, directed Australian Test Cricket Captain Steve Smith in a TVC and has been Wombarra local since 2022.
