Straight to the People; Hon. Russell Broadbent MP, Jordan Dittloff, & Warren Pickering
Event description
Join us on Wednesday 2 April at 6.30pm AEDT for our second Straight to the People public online event.
Straight to the People is a series of online discussions which will bring federal candidates in the 2025 election directly to the people.
Our candidates to be featured are Hon. Russell Broadbent MP, Jordan Dittloff, and Warren Pickering. Our host is Topher Field.
A little about our Candidate panellists;
Russell Broadbent MP - House of Representatives candidate for Monash, Independent - Russell served 6 years as an elected as a local councillor in the Pakenham Shire Council before entering politics at a federal level. He was first elected to the House of Representatives in 1990 for the seat of Corinella, and has served as a House of Representative MP for 7 terms, inkling his current term in Monash.
Over the past four years, he has been a fierce advocate for our right to make decisions for our own bodies. He has spoken with people from across Australia who are rightfully angry, disillusioned and defeated by the Australian Government’s coercion in mandating experimental COVID-19 injections throughout the pandemic years.
On 14 November 2023, he made the decision to resign from the Liberal Party and move to the crossbench.
Joardan Dittloff - Senate candidate in Victoria for the Libetarian party - When addiction and a failed small business lead to a 27 month prison term, Jordan used rock bottom as the foundation for a new life. Since then he's completed a business degree, managed busy Bakery cafes, and graduated at the top of Deakin Law School, all while consistently repaying victims of his offending.
Now as the lead Senate candidate for the Libertarians, Jordan knows the cost of kicking hard decisions down the road and brings his unique life experiences to defending civil liberties and fighting for lower taxes!
Warren Pickering - Senate candidate in Victoria for Pauline Hanson One Nation - Warren Pickering is a proud Australian, former Army combat engineer and political adviser with a strong commitment to securing a better future for all Victorians. His background in the Australian Defence Force, combined with his experience advising in Victoria’s Parliament, gives him a deep understanding of leadership, discipline and the importance of standing up for the people.
Warren has been a vocal advocate for restoring Australian values, protecting economic and social freedoms and ensuring government accountability. He is passionate about removing bureaucratic red tape, lowering the cost of living and strengthening local industries to create jobs for Australians. His firm stance against government overreach and mandates highlights his dedication to personal freedoms and national sovereignty.
A little about our Aligned Council of Australia group panellists;
Children's Health Defence Australa - mission is to end childhood health epidemics by eliminating toxic exposure. They intend to restore and protect the health of children by eliminating environmental exposures, holding responsible parties accountable, and establishing safeguards to prevent future harm of children’s health. Protecting Children. Exposing Harms. Seeking Justice. As part of holding those responsible accountable, CHD plans to initiate multiple legal initiatives in an effort to defend the health of our children and obtain justice for those already injured.
Stand Up Now Australia - mission is to inspire, inform, connect and empower all people in Australia to think and act, to maximise our collective potential. They create change by empowering all people in Australia with innovative and solution-based ideas, tools and skills to improve their lives. They build genuine pathways for the people, who believe in change, to have a sense of hope for the future, and to stand-up & feel compelled to act. Stand Up Now Australia is politically minded and focuses on issues that affect all Australians.
