Summer Series QiGong
Event description
Your teacher Ulrike Kennedy
With decades of nursing and parallel working as a massage therapist, I decided to concentrate again on one of my favourite exercises: Qigong.
After 200 hours of comprehensive teacher training I started classes in Kyneton and Creswick.
Qigong, pronounced “chi gong”, was developed in China thousands of years ago as part of traditional Chinese medicine. It involves exercises or forms to optimise energy within the body, mind and spirit, with the goal of improving and maintaining health and well- being.
Slow and flowing qi Gong movements can influence your body, breath and brain and help focus your mind while reducing stress and feelings of anxiousness
The class is a slow moving standing class that cultovates calm using mindfulness and breath and gentle movement
NOTE : A $70 Unlimited class pass is available for all classes and events included in the SOUL BARN SUMMER SERIES program from Dec 27th - Jan 5th For a single class booking - please purchase your ticket here on the link below
