Event description

Sunsets at the Seed Forest - September 2024

Please join us to learn, connect and celebrate conservation with our wonderful community.

This month we welcome passionate local conservationist and bird expert Eric Anderson AM to talk about the enigmatic Glossy Black Cockatoo. Eric is the Southern Queensland representative for the Glossy Black Conservancy and has a wealth of experience in trying to understand and promote the conservation of this beautiful local species.

Please note that this event will be held at the Barung Community Nursery building to allow for the use of a screen for the presentation.

Please register to attend. Bring a picnic rug or chair, your own drinks and some nibbles to share!

This event is free for members and by donation for non-members. Please note, public toilets are a short walk away.

Proudly supported by Sunshine Coast Council’s grants program.
