Are you a teacher of a student using a communication device?
Would you like to join our once per term support group to meet other teachers and share ideas?
Calling all teachers of students using communication devices...come and join our newly established special interest group...we are hoping to get a group of teachers together virtually for an hour once a term to korero about all things communication device related...general support/ idea sharing/resource sharing/ good practise/trouble shooting/ guest speakers etc.
Roxy is an Outreach Teacher in the Hawkes Bay with a number of her students using communication devices.
Polly, Jane and Rianna work for Talklink as a teacher trainers.
This termly get-together is their idea as a way for teachers working with device users to meet and support each other.
