Finding the story only you can tell
If you’ve ever felt the tug of a real-life moment asking to be written down, this 6-week course is for you. Together, we’ll step into the rich, surprising world of creative nonfiction — memoir, personal essay, travel writing, biography and the many forms in between.
Each week, you’ll be guided through writing exercises, readings, and craft discussions designed to help you shape experience into story. We’ll look at voice, structure, imagery, and how to bring truth to the page in a way that feels alive.
You’ll write regularly, share work in a supportive small group, and receive thoughtful feedback on every piece you create. It’s a chance to explore your memories, observations, and ideas with company — and to discover what rises when you give yourself permission to write. By the end of the course, you'll have formed valuable relationships with other writers, and gained the skills and confidence to keep writing.
