The Perseverance Street Theatre Academy presents.
Primary Drama Workshops: Idea to performance
Ages: 9-11 | Grades 4-6
This term our learning will culminate in an original performance for parents.
Workshops will focus on building performance skills. Children will hone their stagecraft skills, focus and work together to take an idea through to a short polished performance.
Key Skills:
remembering lines and stage movement
creating and sustaining a character
creating tension to engage an audience
performing for an audience
conveying a story and situation through the use of the body, space and voice
Thursday Afternoon
Six week course: Over 10 hours of instruction
Cost: $165
3.30 arrival for a 3.45 start - 5.30pm
Start Date: Thursday 23 of October
End Workshop Performance Day: Thursday 26 of November
Parent Showcase: 5.30pm on Thursday 26 of November
Instructor: This term the group will be led by our academy principal Dr Sharon Hogan
