PD and field trip for laboratory technicians, upper primary and junior science teachers

8:50am: Volcano Field trip. Meet at Mt Rouse, Penshurst VIC 3294 (location TBC) 

11:15am: Mars compared to Earth - liveability and rock cycle exercise and weathering features.

12:00pm: Rock and Critical Minerals Kits, hands-on integrated teaching with plate tectonics poster and online virtual 3D renders, rock thin sections, and rock and mineral stories.

12:30pm: Lunch

1:15am: Wet Rocks - an introduction to groundwater and practical exercises.

2:15pm: Break

2:30-4:00pm: Data science using remote sensing with hands-on exercises.

Cost:

• $50.00 plus GST and booking fees per attendee for each session (Host School only)

• $70.00 plus GST and booking fees per attendee for each session (Visiting School only)

There are two payment methods:

• Preferred payment by credit card on registration.

• Other payment options via invoice by direct deposit (bank transfer), or via invoice by credit card (please contact us at eo@tesep.org.au if you would prefer the latter – note it carries a handling fee).
