The Association for Mental Health Support Workers - February Meeting
Event description
Join your community of support workers from industries including aged care, community service, disability, individual support, mental health and youth work for connection, continued learning, and peer supervision through a mental health filter
Our February meeting will include an exploration of a case study followed by yoga nidra
Peer supervision is a process in which professionals come together to review and discuss their work with one another to enhance their skills and improve the quality of their services. This type of supervision involves peers or colleagues taking on the role of supervisor and providing feedback and support to one another rather than relying on a single external former supervisor
Just 30 minutes of yoga nidra is equivalent to 2 hours of deep rest and has been shown to reduce anxiety, insomnia, and stress
