The Vital Role Play in Childhood - SCHOOLS
Event description
The Vital Role Play in Childhood
Child-initiated creative play is the wellspring of a healthy childhood and lays the foundation for the building of each child's imagination and creative thinking. Young children have an amazing capacity to learn implicitly about themselves and the world in which they live through imitation and play. In this session we will consider what constitutes healthy play and how we can best create an environment that supports it. We will also consider how we can reduce the effects of the many aspects of modern life that impact healthy play.Â
