Join Sarah Machado and Rayne Watkin for a full weekend immersion (May 31st and June 1st) held in the quiet inner melbourne suburb of Caulfield (address to be revealed on purchase). During these immersive two days discover and/or deepen your understanding of the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra as well as receive deep rest and restoration. This immersion is for seekers, healers and teachers.

What to expect:

DAY 1 - The history, the science and foundational practices

- The Historical evolution and appreciating the different schools of Yoga Nidra

- Unpacking the science of how this technique works and its benefits (stages of sleep, brain waves)

- the difference between the technique and the state of Yoga Nidra

- Explore AUM and the 3 states of consciousness, and the koshas in relation to the practice

- preparatory techniques to deepen your practice

- 3 guided Practices and self-enquiry

DAY 2 - Facilitating greater understanding and experience of the STATE of Yoga Nidra.

- Deepening your understanding of Turiya and the state of Yoga Nidra

- exploring the heart as a deep place of rest

- dharma, karma, sankalpa

- time guiding others with peer support and feedback.

- 3 guided advanced Yoga Nidra practices

*Both days participants will be guided through gentle breath work and simple movements to help prepare the body and mind for practice.

- tea and vegetarian snacks and lunch on both days.

- comprehensive manual with plenty of space to write

- Props: mats, bolster and blankets (feel free to bring more)
