The Etymology Game

Event description

Join me to play The Etymology Game, a powerful tool that helps you to reflect on your relationship to your creative identity.

Peel back layers of history and fire up your imagination to rediscover your personal resonance with the vocabulary that we throw around in everyday conversation.

To celebrate the publication of my latest eZine Experiri, we are going to take ‘experience’ as our theme and explore how it affects your experience of creativity.

Gently generative and just a little nerdy, The Etymology Game will provide you with insights and ideas that you can take away and apply to your creative work.

Each participant will be provided with a free copy of Experiri following the workshop.

About your facilitator:

I have over 30 years’ experience in the university, arts, and community sectors; including as arts manager, workplace trainer, neighbourhood house manager, choreographer, events manager, and performer. As a transformative facilitator, mentor, and content-creator, I specialise in helping people to understand their creative identity and to develop a creative process.

I am focused on work that is humane and generative of inspiration, learning, and resilience. I am particularly interested in helping people to reclaim confidence in their creativity, harness collective imagination, and develop capabilities in futures literacy, interdisciplinary and / or transdisciplinary work.
