Presented by the Marine Discovery Centre for National Science Week and Inspiring Australia, this exciting two-hour session brings marine science, sustainability, and coastal discovery to life—right on the sand.

Perfect for families, students, and curious minds of all ages, this event transforms your local beach into an open-air science lab filled with engaging, inclusive activities.

• Citizen Science Stations
  Get hands-on with microplastics sampling, water testing, and biodiversity surveys using real scientific tools and field guides.

• Live Demonstrations
  Marine educators will showcase microscopes, magnifiers, and beachcombing tools to explore coastal life.
