Mon, 25 Aug, 6pm - 8pm EDT

Event description

This two-hour online workshop will build on our previous Using ChatGPT in Social Service Organisations sessions offering another opportunity for kaimahi who are curious about or already engaging with AI in their mahi to explore practical tools in a safe and ethical way.

Te Pai Ora SSPA is excited to host this member only opportunity, delivered again in collaboration with LEAD (Centre for Not for Profit Governance and Leadership) and Mosaic Partners.

Participant feedback from our first two popular and well-received workshops has been incorporated to ensure this follow-up workshop is tailored for our members and is relevant to the social service sector.

"[Mosaic] did a great job at covering many aspects of AI in terms of limitations, security and how it can be used! Thanks so much it was really informative." - Using ChatGPT in Social Service Organisations 2024 participant

This two-hour workshop will cover:

  • Insights from the world of AI

  • Best practices/new features and different generative AI Tools (ChatGPT, MS Copilot, etc)

  • Interactive hands-on activities and scenarios

  • Safety and ethical considerations for AI use in the social service sector

  • Q&A with participants

To assist us with including information within this workshop about your mahi that would be most relevant/useful to learn about, ahead of the workshop we would like you to share any of your pātai and practice examples of using AI in your organisations, roles and mahi. Please offer your input via THIS FORM.

Te Pai Ora SSPA will lead the session with a thought-piece discussion about relevant considerations for our sector on the risks, realities and opportunities of AI.

Jeremy and Jamie from Mosaic Partners, will be back to facilitate part of this workshop with another engaging, interactive and practical, without being overly technical, exploration of insights, tools and new features from the world of AI.

LEAD will also be able to offer its perspective of the relevant considerations of AI for the community not-for-profit sector more widely.
