Virtual Event: Mental Fitness at Work: Building Resilience

We are proud to welcome Emma Boucher, registered psychologist and Mental Health and Wellbeing Facilitator from HSE Global, to our expanded 2023 Employer Training Program.
With a limited number of places available, this two hour virtual workshop is a unique opportunity to take advantage of Emma’s 25 years of experience in the mental health field and gain an understanding of the signs and symptoms of burnout, the most common causes that lead to fatigue and evidence-based strategies to reduce the incident of burnout for employees.
This interactive workshop outlines the mental fitness model as applied to resilience at work, provides evidence-based strategies to build resilience and discuss practical strategies to maintain mental fitness both at work and within the community.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:Â
In completing this course participants will:
- understand the role of resilience within mental health and how to apply the mental fitness continuum to self and others
- understand the key cognitive, behavioural, and emotional strategies to build resilience
- be able to apply of key resilience building skills to build and maintain mental fitness.

This workshop is designed for individuals wishing to improve their own capacity to manage stress and adversity or looking to support others at enhancing their mental fitness.

ABOUT THE TRAINER
Emma Boucher, Senior Psychologist,HSE Global
Emma Boucher has 25 years of experience in the mental health field partnering with individuals, groups, and organizations within public and private settings. She is passionate about creating psychologically healthy workspaces through promotion of wellbeing practices, management of psychosocial hazards and early intervention to support those experiencing mental illness.Â
As a Psychologist, Emma has significant experience within the domains of clinical, occupational, and organisational psychology including RTW, CISD, Workplace Wellness, Mental Fitness and Mental Health First Aid. Emma is a Principal Master MHFA Instructor and blends a dynamic delivery style that includes engagement of participants with sensitivity and compassion.
