Event description

The WA Youth Awards is an event celebrating the accomplishments of young people, youth workers and the youth sector in Western Australia.

This year, we're celebrating 25 years of the Awards. We look forward to shining a light on the outstanding young advocates, artists, innovators and leaders, alongside the unsung heroes of our youth sector.

Read more about this year's WA Youth Awards finalists at the YACWA website.

The WA Youth Awards is run by the Youth Affairs Council of WA (YACWA), Western Australia's peak body for young people and the youth sector. The WA Youth Awards is made possible thanks to our major partners, Lotterywest and Department of Communities, alongside our category sponsors, Parkerville Children and Youth Care, the Commissioner for Children and Young People, The Y WA, ECU, MercyCare, Youth Futures, Mission Australia, Youth Focus, Carers WA and our supporting sponsors, the State Library of WA and RAC.

About the event

The WA Youth Awards unfolds as a gala ceremony with a seated three-course dinner with drinks, all inclusive of the ticket price. The evening includes award presentations, musical performances from young artists and a set menu.
