Friends of Framingham Trails & SVT Weed Warriors at Overly

Join Friends of Framingham Trails and SVT at SVT's Overly property to help combat invasive species. We will be targeting winged euonymus, an invasive shrub. No experience required!

SVT staff will provide training on identification and technique. Bring work gloves, if you have them and water/snacks if desired. Please wear long pants, weather-appropriate clothing, and closed-toe shoes– No flip-flops or sandals. Long sleeves will be helpful but not required. Proper clothing will help prevent exposure to poison ivy and ticks.

• Parking: Meet at the Callahan State Park lot along Edmands Rd (approx: 42°19'53.4"N 71°28'32.0"W). You can set GPS to 1048 Edmands Rd, Framingham, MA 01701. Look for signs with "Callahan State Park".  We will meet at the Callahan State Park lot and walk over together.

• Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

• There will be photos and videos taken at this event. If you do not want to be photographed, please let the photographer know.

• This event is not suitable for dogs. Unless your dog is a service dog, please leave your dogs at home.
