    Event description

    Come along and enjoy the fun of creating — Hands on Creativity Expands The Mind!

    In this workshop we will use colourful dyed fleece (Australian Merino sheep wool rovings) to produce a small bowl or basket that is an amazing work of art! Using our imagination, we will create a stunning piece of felted art -  a free form bowl for those beginning their felting journey or a basket for those with prior experience.

    Wet felting is the technique of using moisture, soap, gentle agitation and time, to make felt using wool fibres. The basic techniques of felt-making are not difficult to learn, however the activity does involve a bit of physical exertion, as we will be rolling the wool backwards and forwards repeatedly, so please keep that in mind when booking.

    All materials required for the class will be provided.

    ESSENTIAL - Please Note;

    Please bring 2 old towels as we will be needing to dry our hands often and may need to sponge water off our works at times.

    Small classes ensure personal attention plus we have fun in a creative and nurturing environment. No mistakes, just opportunities to learn and be creative 😊❤️

    Participation is free. Registrations essential.
