Chasing Waterfalls: walk, mindfulness, connection (Gold Coast Hinterland)
Description
Step off the busy path of life and into a walk that nourishes your body, mind, and soul.
Join us for a relaxed, beginner-friendly walk in the picturesque Gold Coast Hinterland designed for women who love moving in nature and connecting along the way.
We’ll start with a grounding mindfulness practice and introductions, then head off on a beginner friendly waterfall walk where you'll experience the magic of at least 3 waterfalls located in Springbrook National Park about 30-45minute drive inland from the Gold Coast.
Your morning journey includes:
🌿 Opening Circle: Begin with a women's circle style check-in to meet the other women joining the experience and set intentions for your morning in nature.
🌿 Mindfulness Practice: A welcoming, accessible mindfulness and movement session that attunes you to the forest, opens your body, releases stiffness, and gets you ready to move confidently on the hike ahead.
🌿 Guided Nature Hike: Descend into the valley, passing through magical rainforest scenery that will enhance your connection with nature and your inner self. We walk at the speed of the slowest person with the ethos that no-one gets left behind. (1.5-2hrs, grade 3, 4kms, suitable for beginners). Easy-Moderate with some steep drop offs, stairs and slippery terrain. Please contact us for a chat if you are unsure of your ability. Note, this event doesn't include swimming.
🌿 Closing Circle: Finish the adventure by connecting with the women of the group to share your experience, swap contact details with your new friends!
🌿 Optional coffee/morning tea: After the event, stay on for social chats and a coffee/morning tea at a cafe nearby (participants pay for their meals/drinks)
🌿 Photos: from the adventure shared exclusively in the Nature Ritual private Facebook group.
You will leave this event feeling:
Grounded, present, and deeply connected to nature and yourself
Supported and inspired by a community of women sharing a similar journey
Refreshed, empowered, and carrying calm, clarity, and joy into your day
The women who usually attend these hikes are solo adventurers aged 35 to 70 years young – making it a welcoming space for all women looking to get outdoors, connect with others, and enjoy a mindful, active experience.
