World Sickle Cell Day 2025 Brisbane
Event description
World Sickle Cell Day Event in Brisbane Queensland
World Sickle Cell Day is recognised globally on 19 June each year to raise awareness and support for individuals living with sickle cell disease. In Australia, the Australian Sickle Cell Advocacy Inc. (ASCA), a national organisation dedicated to sickle cell awareness, will be leading several events and initiatives to engage communities across the country.
As part of these efforts, we’re hosting a Family Education Day in Brisbane, focusing on the unique challenges faced by sickle cell warriors and their families. The event will feature expert speakers, personal stories from warriors and caregivers, and valuable insights from healthcare professionals.
