Support Inaburra WABIAD teams and the cancer charity by pledging $30* to the students' day of collaborative writing. In recognition of your generosity, you will be given a published copy of both teams’ final submissions. These books will be printed and distributed in Term 4.

Write a Book in a Day is a collaborative team effort (5 – 10 per team) where students plan, write and illustrate a book. Inaburra will have two teams entering this year, so we will have TWO stories (one book) to share with the community. 

Each story grows from a unique set of parameters given to each writing team. The book must be completed within 12 hours – we will be going from 8am-6pm (10 hours). Completed books are shared digitally with children in hospitals across Australia.

The result is hours of entertaining and inspirational reading for sick kids in hospital. Plus, all sponsorship funds raised go toward scientific research to discover better treatments and ultimately a cure for children with cancer.
