Sat, 30 Aug, 7pm - 8:30pm AEST

Event description

Join us in Geelong for a screening of Coral’s Last Stand, a powerful film uniting ocean lovers to save Scott Reef from seismic blasting, drilling and carbon dumping CCS as part of Woodside's fossil fuel expansion plans.

Together, we can defend one of the world’s most biodiverse coral reefs and stop fossil fuel companies from destroying our marine heritage.

Why It Matters

Scott Reef is a remote coral atoll off the Kimberley coast of Western Australia, home to an incredible diversity of marine life – from pygmy blue whales, turtles  to vibrant coral gardens. But Woodside wants to drill for gas and dump carbon pollution under the ocean, threatening this fragile ecosystem and the global climate.

Coral’s Last Stand, featuring AMCS Patron Tim Winton, tells the story of Scott Reef – its beauty, its importance, and the urgent campaign to protect it.

This screening comes at a critical time in the federal government's environmental approvals process. Your voice can help tip the scales to demand the Albanese government Save Scott Reef

Your Presence Matters

By joining this event and taking action you’re part of the growing call for the federal government to reject Woodside’s gas drilling and carbon dumping plans and save Scott Reef for good.

We’ll use this moment to show decision-makers that Australians won’t stand by while our reefs are sacrificed for fossil fuel profits.
