Join us at Braemar Gallery this winter for On Sacred Ground, a solo exhibition by acclaimed Blue Mountains artist Corinne Loxton. Known for her evocative sky and landscape paintings, Corinne shares new works created during a transformative artist residency in the heart of the Red Centre, alongside scenes from her home in the Blue Mountains. Corinne’s plein-air studies and larger studio works invite you to journey with her across sacred landscapes—where silence, vastness, and ancient landforms stir a deep emotional and spiritual response."Painting en plein air in the desert became a pilgrimage of the soul. These works pay homage to nature’s abiding spirit, and the human experiences of vulnerability, endurance, and hope." — Corinne Loxton
This exhibition speaks to the mystical, sacred, and environmental significance of Australia’s desert country and mountain ranges — enduring and deeply personal landscapes.
