Corporate Campaigning Masterclass
Event description
Whilst many campaign trainings focus on shifting state and federal government decisions, some of the biggest wins can be had by changing corporations' policies. From getting banks to pull out of environmentally risky projects, to boycotts that force better labor rights, there are many interesting campaigns we can learn from.
Starting with an overview of corporate structure and how to influence corporations in Australia - followed by case-studies and skills-based workshops on changing corporate policies through industrial action, brand-jamming campaigns, shareholder activism and engaging staff and customers - this will be a two-day masterclass into everything you need to run effective corporate campaigns.
Learning Outcomes
- Introduction to corporate campaigning
- Shareholder activism
- Strategic litigation
- Legal risk management
- Industrial action and supply chain
- Brand pressure and market change through supply chains
