Corpse Couture BB

We at Queer As Death Collective invite you to a special Corpse Couture when you can help prepare a corpse in a fun mock vigil.

Arrival

10:30am for an 11am start.

Meet your corpse

Your corpse for this event will be Ben Byrne. Listen to his touch consent rules. Hear his dying wishes so that we can assist with preparing him for the grave/crematorium.

Dressing

The corpse with be cleaned, dressed and decorated. There will NOT be any genital nudity.

Directions about how to move, roll and dress the corpse will be offered by our team members.

Bring: Your creativity, curiosity, and enthusiasm to help us develop this project. 

Drinks will be supplied by donation to Black Spark Culture Centre.

Dress: Comfortably as you will be kneeling, lifting, and moving. Bodies will lay on the floor for dressing. 

Chairs will be available for seating. Participants can witness or take a more active part.

Shrouding

Special guest rope menace Himboy will be tying up the corpse for shroud and encoffining.
