Explore the wonders of space this Matariki with our interactive digital projection and come along to our fun workshops with local astronomers. Bring your whānau along and get curious about Matariki, science and astronomy!
Join us for our free workshops on:
- Saturday 6th July at 1.30pm in Grey Lynn Library
- Saturday 13th July at 1.30pm in Grey Lynn Library
The digital table is also available during Grey Lynn's library opening hours between Saturday 6th July and Sunday 21st July:
Monday - Friday: 9am - 5.30pm
Saturday: 10am - 4pm
Sunday: Closed
During our workshops, you will experience:
- Interactive introductions to astronomy and the Matariki cluster (Pleiades)
- QnA to ask all of your crazy questions to our astronomers
- A digital interactive table featuring fascinating facts, and crazy animations about space.
- A telescope!
- Drawing activities!
- Free stickers!
