Coruscalia Collective, Adelaide’s new flute ensemble, brings 21st century music and works of Australian composers into interesting spaces and informal venues. The collective made its debut in the 2023 Adelaide Fringe Festival, and has performed at the 2023 Australian Flute Festival in Sydney and Chamber Music Adelaide’s On the Terrace.
Coruscalia Collective received an Adelaide Fringe Fund Grant for their 2024 program Cosmic Landscapes - a concert of music by living composers with video art by South Australian artist Orlando Mee, and recently performed at the Gonjiam Ceramic Park in South Korea for the Fringe Festival for the World Association of Symphonic Bands and Ensembles (WASBE) Conference.
The collective is passionate about collaborating with South Australian composers, and has performed works by Adelaide-based composers David John Lang, Karen De Nardi, Hannah Wilkinson, and Rachel Bruerville.
