EDV Online Support Groups - COSMO
In this group we welcome individuals struggling with any type of eating disorder, that are also having difficulties with other health conditions such as (but not limited to) alcohol or drug use, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, autism. It is a space where participants can seek support for these challenges that is safe and judgement free and where the complexity of the lived experience can be shared and supported.
Please note that this group is for Victorian residents only.

What is involved? EDV Online Support Groups are led by facilitators who have lived experience with an eating disorder. Groups give people the opportunity to draw upon the support, experience and skills of others facing similar issues.
Each session will run for 90 mins, including a short break when needed. Sessions will have a topic/theme which will be used to guide the discussion. Group participants are also able to raise other questions, thoughts, ideas or issues that they would like to discuss.
Groups will run with a minimum of 4 participants and a maximum of 15 participants. Participants need to register to attend.
Who can join?
- Participants need to identify with having a health condition alongside their eating disorder.
- Participants need to be 18 years of age or over
- Participants must read and acknowledge the group agreement when registering
- Participants cannot be current participants in the SE-ED Program

Where are groups held? Groups are held online via Zoom. Please ensure you have a quiet safe space where you are not overheard by others.
The link is sent to participants via email approx. 2 hours prior to the group. Please check in your junk inbox if not received.
